@a_be_zver Thanks) In this case, I was trying to make them more frightening) I also thought that their approach to equipment might go beyond the usual "attack or defense". And the shield is both a huge blade and a cannon at the same time - something universal)

@Lvkoiv Shield is very unusual, face is terrifying

Since I don't have any clear favorites among SM, and I generally just like warhammer, I occasionally find it interesting to implement ideas for various other factions, like the Necrons. I especially like their old lore, when they were just a mysterious and soulless force)

@InfinityGalaxyy I was thinking that it could be a set of different functions in different "cable heads". They look the same on the outside, but some have additional cameras and sensors built in, while others may have lasers - just to suddenly stun or distract an enemy during a battle)

@Lvkoiv I'm not complaining, but how would those Hydra "cables" work on the first helmet? That being said, it's metal as hell.

@Goldietheswag3 In fact, I was just in many ways pushed to such concepts by similar images, judging by which SM is always "skip leg day"))And the thighs are usually the most difficult part - I have to find a balance so that the leg muscles look massive, but at the same time fit into the armor)

Probably my favorite mark of astartes armor is the Mk 7. And of course, I tried to "fit" the anatomy of SM into it)

@gutty0329 In fact, I rarely think in such a long perspective)I've only completed half of the legions in the current series, and I can't even imagine how long it will take to complete it) So for now, I'm thinking of just focusing on the current project, then making plans for something else)

@Lvkoiv You ever thought about making MK III or MK IV? I know MK VII is basically guaranteed but i really wanna see your take on the MK III and IV

@Swagmaster677 I think this is very unlikely so far - I would like the armor of the primarchs to be many times more detailed than the armor of SM - and I just don't have enough skill for this, and it takes an incredibly long time

@EthylYttrium You made a good point) I also like the concept of a fixed helmet in general, as it seems to make it more similar to knights or astoronauts, and it highlights the idea that the first archaic types of armor were more about protection than convenience)

@Lvkoiv I'm assuming the art references how the earlier variants of Mk. II armor were said to lack an independent neck joint meaning that the astartes couldn't turn their heads?

@DowzJ79635 At some point, I discussed the design of the mk 2 with my friends, and I thought about what some archaic version of the armor might look like, preceding it, perhaps its early prototype version)
