One very relevant thing that is emerging In emergency training/ planning for HEIs is the extension of the concept of the child (understandably and no criticism implied) - we have parents advocating for 27 year old postgrads… but it is necessary to understand this

@markrwilliamson I've seen frogs' legs being collected in Albania (on a documentary on Italian TV). Albania supplies most of the live frogs & frogs' legs to Italy (where they have gourmet festivals). The animals are collected at night in buckets & "halved" on an upturned axe. Rear legs onto ice.

What a difference 4 years makes! We enquired about Marleigh houses in 2022 & were told we would be expected to have sold our house & moved into rented to be able to buy when they released the plots. We decided it wasn't worth the stress and went with the existing market instead.

@ltg1810 I was looking at gigantic albums online last night. Quite fancy some for next year but the bulbs are over 20cm diameter and you have to plant them 3x bulb size. Might need an excavator for that!

@ltg1810 They were one thing that grew under the window of the kitchen at our last house (right onto the pavement). Our old neighbour there spotted the new owners digging that area over and he thought they were onions 🤣, had no clue about spring bulbs!

@ltg1810 We've got muscari everywhere! I bought one or two bags of bulbs from Homebase when we were at our last house and they just multiplied. Brought a load with us in pots to the new house and I've planted them out. Still got lots in pots too!
