3.1 You can only control things to a point. We know we were lucky that my parents pulled through. It is hard not to think of things one could have done differently to avoid what came to be. But we do need to move towards acceptance and practice empathy for others and ourselves.

3. The pedagogical tone should not imply that we got it all right. I am generally not one to operate with an 'over-abundance of caution'. But some other family members are. In this particular situation that caution was needed and saved us precious time.

Desperate times call for desperate measures- I'll be on Twitter for the next few weeks helping close Covid information gaps the best I can. My parents tested +ve in December and father needed plasma. Some suggestions from our experience (tailored to these more dire months):
