🔥 BEST VIDEO OF THE YEAR
Rare moment of truth at the UN from brave Kuwaiti dissident @JJJuraid, invited by UN Watch:
Mr. Chair,
I heard the term “colonizers.” But who are the real colonizers? A Jewish Kingdom ruled in Judea for a thousand years. We, the Arabs, took this land.
Who Arabized Egyptians, Phoenicians, Persians and Amazighs? It was us, the Arabs.
So why does the council enshrine a lie by keeping a permanent agenda item on Palestine, while ignoring the indigenous heart of Israel returning home?
Let us be clear about who is actually defending our sovereignty. Today, Israel is a fighter for peaceful nations, freeing Gaza from Hamas and saving Iranians from the Islamic Republic.
What Israel is doing to the IRGC — stopping a genocidal regime from acquiring nuclear weapons — is a gift to humanity.
There are 57 Islamic countries and only one Jewish state, Israel. Despite the ongoing hateful desire to eliminate it, Israel has not only survived, it has thrived.
I don't believe in miracles, but this is one.
So I ask the UN: when will you end the ritual of condemning Israel?
Is it not time, instead, to learn from Israel? How to defeat terror, defend free societies, and pursue peace.
Thank you.

DHS funding deal is falling apart.
Senate GOP offered to fund all of DHS, except ICE’s deportation wing (ERO).
Dems just countered and demanded additional concessions, they want major ICE reforms (unmasking, judicial warrants, etc).
GOP says why would we agree to reforms for an agency being defunded?
Dems had an offer on the table to carve out ICE’s removal operations, and fund everything else within DHS, and they are saying no.
They are demanding ICE reforms for an agency they aren’t going to fund.
GOP saying no.
And the shutdown continues - now on day 40.

Everyone assumes this picture of Buttigieg is him eating a chicken wing, and that's because he's biting in a way to engage his "rip-the-flesh-from-the-bone" front teeth, so we fill in "chicken wing" to make it make sense. But what he is actually eating is a small piece of a cinnamon roll, and our brains just can't comprehend biting into a small piece of dough that way. It's like an alien took over a human body and is unfamiliar with the subtleties of how it works.

Warren didn't say she had "Native American heritage."
She filled out her 1986 Texas bar registration card by hand writing "American Indian." She claimed she was Cherokee, i.e. a member of Cherokee Nation.
She had Fordham Law Review verbatim list her as Harvard Law School's first “woman of color.”
She plagiarized various French recipes and claimed they were her Cherokee family's historic foods (crab dip with mayo?) in her Pow Wow Chow cookbook.
So your progressive, racist mindset doesn't get to disqualify the ACTUAL American Indian because his skin displeases you.

Disney is about to triple-dip on a single cartoon in under two years, and the math says you'd be insane not to.
The original Moana made $643 million at the box office in 2016. Solid, not spectacular. Then something weird happened. On Disney+, the movie refused to die. Nielsen data shows it has been streamed for over 1.4 billion hours on the platform, the equivalent of someone watching the full movie 775 million times. It was the #1 most-watched film across all streaming services in both 2023 and 2024. Not an MCU movie. Not Star Wars. A Polynesian teenager and a shapeshifting demigod.
That streaming explosion is why Moana 2, originally intended as a Disney+ TV series, was rerouted to theaters. Bob Iger made the call in February 2024. It went on to gross $1.059 billion worldwide on a TV show budget. Deadline pegged the net profit at $415 million, making it the second most profitable film of 2024.
Now comes the live-action version. Disney's live-action remakes have grossed over $9 billion combined, despite production budgets of about $2 billion. The Lion King (2019) did $1.66 billion. Beauty and the Beast did $1.26 billion. Lilo & Stitch just crossed $1.038 billion in worldwide box office, on a $100 million budget. But the formula is not automatic. Snow White, released in March 2025 on a $250 million+ budget, made $205 million worldwide and cost Disney an estimated $115 million. The difference between a billion and a bomb: whether people are already watching the original on repeat before the remake even gets announced.
Moana's demand is not close to anything else in Disney's vault. 1.4 billion hours streamed. Most-watched movie on all of streaming, two years running. Lin-Manuel Miranda is back writing songs for the live-action version after sitting out Moana 2. Dwayne Johnson is physically playing Maui for the first time. And Auli'i Cravalho, who voiced Moana in both animated films, turned down the live-action lead so another Pacific Islander could take the role. Catherine Laga'aia, in her film debut, stepped in. Cravalho stayed on as executive producer.
Between the original, the sequel, and a live-action remake in theaters July 10, the Moana franchise is tracking toward a combined theatrical gross approaching $3 billion from a single set of characters in under a decade. Disney now owns 33 of the 58 films that have ever crossed $1 billion worldwide. That's 57% of the billion-dollar club, from one studio. The internet can debate whether these remakes should exist. Disney's spreadsheet already won that argument.
