If these abnormalities turn out to be harmless or temporary, let that news come quickly and bring relief flooding back into her life like sunrise through storm clouds. Strengthen her body. I know I post about it a lot, but I cannot shake how good God has been to me. Every day I wake up grateful. In 2014, I was facing 6 felony charges that stemmed from burglary, forgery, two counts of possession of narcotics, and a 5th offense OWI. I was ultimately charged with four felonies, and the others were dropped. The judge gave me concurrent time. I sat in jail for a year and walked out in 2015. The greatest thing that happened in that jail cell was that Jesus met me there. Before going in, I did not truly know God. But after about two months, a girl planted a seed in my heart about surrendering my life to Jesus. And I did. That was the best choice I have ever made. I did not walk out of jail perfect, but I walked out with a seed planted in my heart that God would continue to water. And today, I can honestly say I am not the same person I used to be. He took me when I was broken, lost, addicted, and facing the consequences of my choices, and He began making me new from the inside out. That is why I talk about Him so much. Because I know where He found me. I know what He delivered me from. No past is too dark. No person is too broken. No jail cell, addiction, charge, mistake, or shame is too far for the love and mercy of Jesus. If He did it for me, He can do it for you. Forever grateful. 🙏

I normally don’t ask for prayers, but I feel like I’m drowning right now. Mom is struggling terribly but refuses care other than my assistance, and my sweet Luna is sick. If you have a moment, whisper a prayer for Mom too. It’s okay to admit when you’re overwhelmed—it’s not weakness. It took me years to accept that.

Good morning, friends! This GM post is going to be a little different for me. Anyone who knows my husband and I knows we have that on-again, off-again, laughter, tears, extreme highs and massive lows relationship. Additionally, he was diagnosed with depression. Last night (feels like today because I haven't slept yet) he decided to take his own life. I'm not exactly sure if the manner and location in which he chose were to be close to his family... or the ultimate FU... the harsh reality is that I'll never know. I'll be back; of that I have no doubt! Maybe in a few days, maybe longer... I honestly have no idea. And I don't know how much I'll be able to respond, but I do know I'll be reading the responses. Until I see you again; please take care of yourselves and take care of each other. And if you suffer from depression; never be afraid to ask for help. Even if you DM and ask me... I will find someone in your area. Thank you for being the close friend I so desperately need right now! Much love to you all. 🙏🫶

Officially entering the "I've seen some stuff and still can't find my car keys" era today. As I began my victory lap, I am excited to embrace what is to come this next year before I get punched in the face with 60. My goals are as follows: Walk more (mostly walking to the fridge and forgetting why I went there). Achieve absolutely nothing before 10 am and call it "strategic recovery". Eat cake for breakfast as often as I want. Perfect the "back in my day" rant. Travel more, complain about prices more, and perfect the ancient art of falling asleep during movies I paid to watch. Say "yes" to more adventures...and by adventures I mean early bird specials and leaving parties before 8 pm. Today I am 59 years young. I'm still awkward, confused and pretending I know what I'm doing. But I have every intention of living for Jesus and making this next year ridiculously fun and maybe just a little bit irresponsible. Good morning my friends. Meet the amazing woman who gave me life. Beautiful wasn’t she? She passed away 27 yrs ago today at the age of 58, far too young. I probably won’t be on much today, but I will try. This day never gets easier. Be gentle with one another, some of the worst pain is the type you can’t outwardly see; it is vicious and unrelenting. This is a plea for prayers. 🙏🙏🙏 My little brother has liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma). We're lucky it's in the early stages and the tumor is small. He will be undergoing ablation therapy in the morning. He lives in California and I live in Florida; I feel so helpless because praying is all I can do at this point. His name is Jim and although he was a pain in my butt growing up... I love him with all my heart.
