@nursekelsey I am glad your daughter is ok. Yes suit colour matters. As aquatic manager for 40 years - children move quickly, guards scan many bathers. Being within arms reach of your child at all times even in the water is another precaution. And swimming lessons, as I see you have done. 🙏

So what’s the difference between the two? Preservatives! Wonder bread has if, fresh baked “home baked” bread usually doesn’t. Sometimes preservatives change the flavour and texture of food but usually they don’t.

Science experiment for my students, conducted in my kitchen! The first is bread bought on July 26th, best before July 30th. Fresh-baked at Sobeys. The second is Wonder bread bought on JUNE 26th, best before July 13th. Both stored on my counter until 1 week ago. Yummy!

For the last...5 hours or so I have been reading and grading nature journals, and I can't count the number of students who wrote, right in their assignment, how much they dreaded their journal entries in January but came to love them by the time April rolled around.

It's #bellletstalk day and our Therapy Dogs are there to care. Our volunteer number dropped during the pandemic but our teams still ended up doing 359 visits with a total of 843 hours of love shared in 2022. Our volunteers also had 561 administrative hours🐾. #LdnOnt

So I will continue my VERY IMPORTANT duties as the Floaty Boaty Observation and World Update Supervisor, and there are of course several happy adventures to come until the end of April. If anyone, uh, needs a most excellent university professor come May 2023, let me know? lol

It's officially not a secret anymore! I applied for a new appointment at SMU for next school year, had my interview last week, references checked, and...winner, winner, chicken dinner! 🍗🥳🎉 I'll be an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology for another 8 months.
