This last Mother’s Day was one of the best, so relaxing. I didn’t realize how much I needed that. When my kids have children, I’ll want them focused on the mother at home, not worrying about coming over or celebrating me while they are in the thick of parenthood.

As a not artistic person, I never realized how having artistic children would result in discarded artwork throughout the entire house.

On May 10, a trans student at @UW in Seattle was found stabbed to death. It has sent shockwaves through the woke and ideologically captured campus. In the @NBCNews report on the killing, reporter @davidkli omitted that the suspect is a black male. The majority of killers of trans people in the U.S., and there aren't many victims, are black men. Despite this, trans activists blame whites and white supremacy.

Senator John Fetterman just confirmed what everyone suspected. Obama has been showing up on Capitol Hill WEEKLY issuing marching orders to Democrats in both chambers. Fetterman said: "I don't know who he thinks elected him to do that — but it wasn't the people I serve." If that's true, Obama is running an active shadow government to undermine Trump and we the people.

Years ago I tried to start a non-profit that delivered tampons and sanitary pads to homeless women (these supplies are often overlooked) anyway we had everything lined up, companies were going to donate the supplies, we would package and distribute. LA shut us down because we couldn’t guarantee how they would be disposed of. In fact the city fought us on it and called it an environmental hazard. Why are diapers any different? They aren’t, we just didn’t have the elite on our side.

Washington just became the first state in U.S. history to terminate a public employee pension plan. The plan belongs to retired police officers and firefighters. LEOFF Plan 1 was 160% funded as of June 2024 per the state's own actuarial valuation. It had not required a single contribution in 25 years. By 2029 it was projected to reach 200% funded with a $4.3 billion surplus. The legislature terminated the plan, swept $3.9 billion, and is using $880 million of it to refill a rainy day fund it already drained to cover a deficit it created. Days ago, retired first responders including former Congressman Dave Reichert sued the state to stop it. The bill passed the House 55-39 and was advanced out of Appropriations without a public hearing. Every yes vote was a Democrat. The governor signed it in April. This man is utterly repulsive. In 2024, Assad Hussain started dating a woman. It did not go well as he became very controlling in a short time. He assaulted her and she ended the relationship. Two months later, men started appearing at her home. Hussain had set up a fake Tinder profile, pretending to be the woman, and inviting men to her home to be part of her “rape fantasy”. He had specifically told them that she wanted to be “roughed up” and if she said “no” then she wanted more. One man turned up at her house, smashing the front door panel as he forced the door open. Another sneaked into her house when she was at work, while her daughter was alone upstairs. At least 18 men were given her details and invited to her home. Police eventually discovered the fake account and tracked it to Hussain, who had operated it while sitting near her house. He was just found guilty in a court and will be sentenced at a later date. What would be an appropriate sentence?

They NEVER mentioned the Amish, who are STILL in the mountains rebuilding homes 550 days later. They NEVER mentioned Jake Jarvis, who has worked 550 days STRAIGHT FOR FREE for Hurricane Helene victims. Instead, they dug up some fringe conspiracy angle to smear the people who actually showed up as White Nationalists. I'm so angry. Let me tell you what 60 Minutes will NEVER report on I was there. I lived it. I am still here. I shared every story I could find. Me, my wife, hundreds of volunteers delivered RVs to mothers holding babies who were sleeping in TOOL SHEDS AND TENTS in the freezing cold, in the mountains. Because their homes had been ripped off the side of a mountain and washed down the French Broad. So tell me 60 Minutes... WHERE WAS THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT? Tell me, WHY did all these volunteers NEED to show up? Any thoughts on that?!!!!! Any investigation AT ALL into the federal or state government's response to Hurricane Helene? Please tell me... if the federal government was doing such a GREAT JOB, why did we need to put victims in RVs... ...A MONTH AFTER THE HURRICANE?!!!!!!! Literally every single victim you talk to in Western North Carolina has a horror story about dealing with FEMA... ...and guess who they will all say actually cam through for them? Neighbors. Church groups. The Amish. The Cajun Navy. Shawn Hendricks. Samaritan's Purse. MercuryOne. The Mission Mules hauling insulin up washed-out roads, ONLY ACCESSIBLE by mules. Greg Biffle burning his own fuel in helicopters. Veterans like Adam Smith who organized helicopter rescues with other veterans BY HIMSELF and then was demonized by the media for it. Volunteers like Jake Jarvis working TO THIS DAY, 550 days later without ANY PAY AT ALL. THOSE ARE THE STORIES FROM HURRICANE HELENE WORTH TELLING. But 60 Minutes won't tell ANY OF THEM. Because the truth makes the federal government the villain and the "deplorables" are actually the heroes in this story and they can NEVER admit that. So instead they smeared the rescuers as white nationalists. This is unforgivable. I was there. I saw it with my own eyes. And I will BE DAMNED if I let CBS rewrite the history of what happened to my mountains.
