@Lynncabrams How exciting!! I have some Tuku yarn I bought as a kit but have not yet made the sweater…one of these days! Just resurrected a shawl with a complicated lace and cable border to work on our holiday… have fun in Finland!

Thanks Lucy - it takes years to research and write a book and this one meant and means a lot to me. Important to write those feminist lives into the historical narrative.

My review of @Lynncabrams Feminist Lives is out with Women's History Review. It's an important book that models how to capture the diffuse influence of politics beyond activist circles.

One secondary but very annoying argument that I often see made about childlessness is 'parents know what it is like to not have children because there is a time when they were childless, but childless people can't know what it is like to be a parent'...
