With today’s social climate, it is more important than ever to recognize that some of our children are taught bias, discrimination and hate. The hate-fueled murderer in Buffalo was only 18 years old. Right now, in the pipeline, children, tweens and teens are taught to hate.

We have endured 'social distancing', quarantine and isolation for more than two years. These restrictions are the antithesis of empathy, community and connection. In the midst of omicron, it seems the word empathy is mentioned every day on the TV and in social media.
