@CarolinaADrake I have a newborn and plenty of people I have loose connections to (neighbors, acquaintances) are offering to help out and I'm having so much trouble learning to say "yes". Even though someone holding him for 30 minutes while I fold laundry would be a huge help!

@Karnythia I was class if 2004 and we had typing classes in elementary school. No memory of whether they were optional or not.

Typing was a requirement in the 90's but I think class of 98 or 99 was probably at the tail end of that mandate. I know people who didn't have to take who were class of 2001.

As someone who grew up in evangelical Christianity, I promise you that “apocalyptic war is coming to Israel after which all unconverted—including unconverted Jews—will burn forever” is a perfectly common belief in any evangelical Christian church. Not held by all, but by many.

We need a focus on how normal this language is among Republicans, particularly Christian Republicans, whose “support” of Israel is predicated on a belief that an apocalyptic war will happen there after which Jesus will bring Christians to paradise and burn everyone else forever.

@AlexandraErin As a cis woman this is what I find so confusing about transphobia. Like, if I woke up tomorrow in male body I would still feel like a woman. So someone being trans is just a real easy thing to empathize with. I'm just so confused about how these people experience their own gender

Yea! Along with bash’ it’s the word in the book I most hope people will find useful & start using. So helpful for thinking about relationships with work & different ways voker v. non-voker work can be organized, exploited, rewarded, harmed etc.
