when I piano conducted hadestown we stuck a balance where my trombonist played it mostly as written the first like minute and then she got complete free reign. like you want to really establish the groove first

the different interpretations of the bone part in road to hell in hadestown are so fun to get into. like some of the bone players stick to the score super strictly and then others just go stupid mode the entire song I love it

Katherine Legge chances of completing 1100 miles is pretty slim and I only say that because the equipment she's gonna be in for the 600. She most likely will go multiple laps down. With that being said it would still be a huge accomplishment if she can finish both races
