Today, we participated in the #GicumbiInvestmentForum, which brought together investors from @GicumbiDistrict and across the country. The two-day forum, themed “Unlocking Gicumbi’s Investment Potential,” was organized in collaboration with @RDBrwanda,the District , and the Private Sector Federation in Gicumbi, with support from different partners including Green Gicumbi Project. During a panel discussion, our Team Leader, @Kagenzabugingo, highlighted #GreenGicumbi project’s contribution to creating investment opportunities that can drive @GicumbiDistrict’s economic growth while strengthening climate resilience for its people. As one of the district’s key partners, he emphasized that through implemented initiatives focused on transforming agriculture into a climate-resilient sector, restoring landscapes, and promoting sustainable forest management, #GreenGicumbi Project has significantly expanded investment opportunities that can be leveraged by both local and external investors. He also encouraged investors to explore the opportunities in the carbon credit market & other existing environmental and climate financing opportunities in the Country such as @IremeInvest under the @GreenFundRw & @BRDbank, which can provide financial support for the Private Sector to make sustainable investments.

Free Housing in Rwanda ♥️ President Paul Kagame has fulfilled his promise to provide free housing for Rwandans. Thousands of Rwandans who were homeless or living in high-risk areas have received modern homes at no cost, as pledged by President Kagame. If Rwanda can achieve this, your country can too. These homes were entirely built and funded by the Rwandan government for its people, free of charge.

President Kagame joined over 2000 Rwandan youth for the “Walk to Remember” from Gasabo District Headquarters to BK Arena, at the start of the 100-day commemoration period #Kwibuka31. President Kagame also participated in the candle lighting ceremony, which kicked off the Night Vigil, featuring testimony and musical performances in honour of the victims and survivors the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsi.
