Now that The Boys show is finished, there's an insane amount of revisionism happening around the comic. Just because the ending of the show wasn't great does not mean the comic is good. The comic is still a million times worse

The season has some problems for sure, especially in the very odd way they handled the Gen V stuff, and you can definitely feel the slashed budget, but it's kind of the perfect ending you could ask for, all things considered
