Judge Andrew S. Hanen's decision to block new DACA applicants runs afoul of numerous biblical calls for government authorities to treat migrants with fairness & compassion. To cancel DACA without a permanent legislative solution leaves millions vulnerable.

It’s time for policies that reflect compassion. DACA was never enough, it was a stepping stone to a better solution. So now as we suspend between the already and not yet we have the opportunity to move, to advocate, to pray, and to organize. The future is now.
