A 7-year-old girl died in ICE custody of dehydration. Officials called it "unforeseen." She asked for water three times. That's not an accident. That's murder by indifference.

Over the past week, Russia launched nearly 1,550 attack drones against Ukraine, more than 1,260 guided aerial bombs, and two missiles. Over that same week, due to the easing of sanctions, Russia increased its crude oil sales to finance its war. Revenues give Russia a sense of impunity and the ability to continue the war. That is why pressure must continue and sanctions must work. Russia’s shadow fleet must not feel safe in European waters or anywhere else. Tankers that serve the war budget can and must be stopped and blocked, not just let go. I thank every leader who makes such decisions. This is what brings a dignified peace closer.

Ukrainian grain shipments are once again targeted by drone attacks, which regularly strike port infrastructure. This time, in the Odesa region, two foreign cargo ships loaded with grain were damaged, and two people were injured. The vessels remain afloat, but such strikes on civilian infrastructure constitute a violation of #InternationalLaw. Since the beginning of the year, at least 13 civilian ships have been damaged in such attacks.

ICE chased out of a Kansas City, MO parking lot this morning. As workers arrived to start their shifts at a Westport strip mall, ICE agents began harassing them in the parking lot. In response, community members mobilized and joined with local workers to chase them out.
