@envyliah Paid work has dried up. Most of the income streams that I was relying on all fell apart - Saturns transit and Retrograde are happening on the cusp of Pisces and Aries, all in my 2nd house. I know it is time for me to stop messing around & start true vocation work.

@Rothmus There's a customize button. Customize it to the normal amount (10% is the normal amount for basic service, then more based on actual level of awesome service you received. You don't get a tip just for existing. Especially if there's an attitude problem).

Commentary Donald J. Trump Posts From Truth Social
Based on the lack of respect that China has shown to the World’s Markets, I am hereby raising the Tariff charged to China by the United States of America to 125%, effective immediately. At some point, hopefully in the near future, China will realize that the days of ripping off the U.S.A., and other Countries, is no longer sustainable or acceptable. Conversely, and based on the fact that more than 75 Countries have called Representatives of the United States, including the Departments of Commerce, Treasury, and the USTR, to negotiate a solution to the subjects being discussed relative to Trade, Trade Barriers, Tariffs, Currency Manipulation, and Non Monetary Tariffs, and that these Countries have not, at my strong suggestion, retaliated in any way, shape, or form against the United States, I have authorized a 90 day PAUSE, and a substantially lowered Reciprocal Tariff during this period, of 10%, also effective immediately. Thank you for your attention to this matter! Donald Trump Truth Social 04/09/25 01:19 PM

@Aarvoll_ I disagree about white people being more altruistic and less tribal. I believe we have been conditioned over time to hate ourselves, give more to others to quench this societally imposed self hate, and slowly and systematically conditioned to be less tribal. To divide us.

White people are more altruistic and less tribal than the other races. This has resulted recently in our relative inability to form secure boundaries around our nations and cultures. But because of this abnormal concern for universal rather than personal goods we developed an abnormal regard for the pursuit of universal truths in math, science and philosophy. Individually, or at the family level, dedicating your life to understanding the principles of nature isn't competitive, economically or evolutionarily. It's a personal sacrifice but benefits the state of knowledge of millions. Western Christendom gained ascendency because our brilliant and self sacrificial philosophers, scientists and mathematicians contributed to the state of specifically Western knowledge (China didn't immediately benefit from Galileo or Newton), in our university system and wider academia. The West is losing its advantage, not only because we're letting in the third world and are subject to foreign influence, but also because we're still paying the cost of maintaining the unselfish values that cultivate altruistic, truth seeking geniuses, while no longer getting exclusive access to the fruits of the knoweldge they uncover. We didn't bring about the modern world because we had the best merchants or engineers, we brought it about because we had the best philosophers and mathematicians (and many who were both). All of our modern sciences were born out of natural philosophy. Before the specific axioms and methodologies of a particular science are established theorists are operating in an interdisciplinary domain that requires careful exploratory reasoning. The art of improving that reasoning process and improving our intuitions for finding good hypotheses is philosophy. The benefits of philosophy are so widely distributed and the costs are so concentrated that normal people don't recognize what philosophy even does, let alone that it's resposible for their current prosperity. For the West to rise again we need to create formal institutions that cultivate genius while not immediately giving away all the benefits to the rest of the world. As much of human progress is now being driven by intelligent use of top artificial intelligence models, the art of reasoning well and of understanding the nature of reason is even more necessary than in the past. The model for what we have to do to bring the fruits of genius to specifically our people is to be found at the root of Western mathematical science and philosophy: the Pythagorean societies. Pythagoras started a network of intentional communities of researchers who were initiated into a way of live that improved their memory, industry and reasoning, and who were sworn to secrecy about the school's esoteric doctrines. And it worked. Pythagoreans are responsible for numerous theorems in geometry, number theory, music theory and put their discoveries to use. They jump started Western science, and the engineering marvels of the ancient world would not have been possible without their contributions. Their discoveries ended up being common intellectual property because their societies faced political persecution, their members went into hiding, and eventually set down their doctrines in writing, which is how Plato was ultimately able to purchase Pythagorean works from Philolaus. If we can follow their model, and solve the problem of political persecution at the same time, we will become the ascendent force again, technologically and culturally.
