@LeGrove It is funny because during many years French journalists kept saying PSG would always fail in Europe because of the poor level of Ligue 1, the lack of top level games. Who is right ? 🤷‍♂️

PSG have the highest wage bill in Europe. 457m euros on wages. There is no other French team in the top 20 for wages. PSG just got walloped by Monaco in Ligue 1. RC Lens are 1 point behind them with a wage bill under 100m. There is only one clubs in Ligue 1 that is not a hardcore selling club. Ligue 1 gives more minutes to teenagers than any league in Europe. My point? PSG's best players are always fresh because they are overpowered to outrageous levels. Put any top-tier Premier League winger in Ligue 1 and they would destroy it. Put Jarrod Bowen there and he'd do the same. You cannot say the same for PSG players in the Prem. Dembele would break in 3 minutes. Barcola's record this year in Ligue 1 is 1 goal (3 in the CL) and he's tiny. Doué is always injured. Kvara is the only one I'd be interested in seeing over here. Liam beating down on Premier League quality is pure cope.

I'm a fan of a Premier League club, I watch more Premier League football than any other league... But I do enjoy the league being taken down a peg or two, and this week certainly did so. P6, W0, D2, L4, Scored 6, Conceded 16 The way so many fans in this country carry on... constantly diminishing players, managers, teams from other leagues... Failing to acknowledge the fact that the Premier League often spends more than the other leagues COMBINED in a season... Some of these ties aren't over... but I do enjoy watching those fans being humbled.
