@JanetMorrisonUK Think this is a great start but the devil is in the detail and in reality how long will the £645m last. Hopefully core funding will now be addressed as part of the negotiations and help pharmacies support the patients with more long term conditions.

We are in negotiations with Government and NHSE on the £645m investment they announced today in pharmacy. It is vote of confidence in the skills of the sector but we are yet to learn all of the details. We will work hard to ensure that it works for patient and pharmacy health.

The aggressive behaviours against pharmacy teams have to stop. Record number of calls been made to the police during the past couple of years by #pharmacy teams reporting threatening, abusive & violent conducts. Something has to be done about this! #pharmacyhour #NHS
