@BullBoss5 In the Netherlands it is "uncomfortably warm" for about 8-10 days a year, while our homes are strongly insulated, too. Unlike American homes, which often have walls made of cardboard. It's 23 degrees in my room at night, despite having had a full week of 27 degrees outside.

I think Americans misunderstand why AC is less common in Europe. For a lot of Europeans, comfort is not always about controlling everything artificially. It is also about opening the windows, letting air circulate, using shutters, living with the seasons, and keeping life simple. It is not necessarily backward. It is just a different relationship with comfort, energy, and everyday life.

Pretty easy to say when you weren't there. Being at the scene of an active gunfight is pretty confusing and untrained civilians do dumb things, but your job as the trained and responsible person, is to be sure of your target.

Developers should lose projects or lower prices, when they can’t sell them. No one should be allowed to pray in the middle of a highway. Everyone should be treated equally.
