MACC Turf Maintenance

Excited for this new journey as I’ve accepted a position with Wake Forest University in their Athletic Field Maintenance department #GoDeacs

This will be the final post from this account as today is my last day as the GCS @ MACC. It’s been a GREAT 20 yrs and I’ve gained numerous friends from my time here that will last a lifetime! Thanks for all that have followed along, especially with our #Bluemuda project!

@KendalEschbach @MtnView_Seeds Yes. We are in the foothills of NC in the transition zone and have had good success so far

More nitrogen the better. Both planted at the same time and picture on right was hit with some Andersons 44-0-0 in the late December during a warm spell #bluemuda

@rtdemayturf @bwinka Also, this approach got more N than the fairways we done (due to lack of funds) and boy what a difference! Fairways prob got approx 1.5-2# and approach got 3-4#

Covers going on…..The golf course will close tomorrow, Thursday January 6 at 2:00pm. We will reopen Wednesday January 12 @ 11:00am #staywarm
