@RodSerlingFndtn I really recommend watching Carol for another Christmas.. it's available on YouTube and also HBO Max. It's so relevant and thought-provoking. Rod Sterling's insight was pretty amazing to say the least.

@RodSerlingFndtn I watched "Carol for Another Christmas" last night.. it's probably one of the best depictions of A Christmas Carol I've seen. I can't think of a movie more relevant for the time. As I watched it.. I was amazed at how accurately Serling had his finger on the pulse of human nature.

@Rizabellepow I hold the same view and what's hard to swallow to this day is the fact that we could have had them both. The people wanted Biden.. if anything had happened to him in the course of his second presidency..Harris would have been there to step in.

It’s not hard. I can hold two positions in my head. Biden was forced out and that is what screwed Kamala over. She ran a wonderful campaign and had to deal with the aftermath. Biden was a great President and cleaned up a huge mess. She was a great candidate. I love them both.

So what I started doing is keeping a piece of paper and pencil next to me while I'm reading and if there's a word I want to look up.. I just jot it down and continue to read!

@BooksOverKindle Same, honestly my absolute favorite thing about reading is having to look up new words and up my vocabulary with words that change the way I speak and articulate myself.

I MUST get back to reading novels, I'm slowly losing my vocabulary.

@markland_jane @emreadsthebooks May I suggest the "Inspector Van Veeteren Mysteries" by Hakan Nesser.. winner of the Swedish crime Writers Academy prize and also Scandinavian crime society's Glass Key Award! Just happened upon one of his books at a book sale and loved it so much, I've read every one of them!

@emreadsthebooks I tend not to get them anymore. I’d rather find something organically, and this year have moved towards more translated crime books from the Nordic countries. Save my band of favourite authors, I’m waiting for big 5 stuff to be in the library. A lot of it is very dull.

I've not had much success with hyped books or new releases lately, so let's see how we go.... I know The Names is beloved by so many on here
