Ngizwe Mchunu and Phakel'umthakathi are vigilante thugs! They are now harassing KZN podcasters for reporting live on these events. They want to control the narrative. They only want Zoso to post because they can control what he must or not post. Malawians are already taking a strain and in a vulnerable situation in Durban. Why continue insulting and harassing them!? Ngizwe was crying fake tears like a baby dog when his old rondavels were self-arsoned last month. Today he is the one abusing Malawians. He Police of KZN are doing nothing because they know that the celebrity Provincial generals will fire them if they carry out their constitutional duty. He has surrended his Police powers to Phakel'umthakathi

@SABCNews No way out, 10 000 human rights violations. Take them back to communities with full state protection and arrest all instigators. This is not the South Africa we know. Imagine those refusing humanitarian assistance to "human beings," as he says. Sheer what???

BREAKING: Malawians are on strike. They are now protesting and allegedly attacking ordinary South Africans that are minding their own business. I told you that their televised departure was just a huge publicity stunt.

@daddyhope They are at home affairs because it is the responsibility of the South African government to provide safety, security, housing and comfort to all, irrespective of race, colour, creed, country of origin or ethnicity. What is happening there is a disgrace.

These are Congolese nationals from the Democratic Republic of the Congo who have been sleeping in the cold South African winter outside the Department of Home Affairs offices in Durban after being displaced by the latest wave of xenophobic violence. They are not undocumented migrants. Many say they possess valid documentation but fear for their lives because, according to them, the anti-immigration campaign is not distinguishing between those who are legally in the country and those who are not. They say that as long as someone is perceived to be a foreign national, they are being told to leave or face intimidation and violence from xenophobic groups. These Congolese are appealing to the government in Kinshasa to urgently assist them, saying they have nowhere else to go in Durban and have sought refuge outside the Home Affairs offices. Some say they were forced out of their homes, while others say they fled voluntarily after receiving threats and fearing for their safety. Among them are women and children enduring harsh winter conditions with little shelter, uncertain of what the future holds and pleading for protection and assistance.

"These people are not animals. These are human beings like fellow South Africans. Today it might be us suffering, but tomorrow children of South Africans can be receiving support from Malawi." George Mzenda, a Malawian citizen, says conditions for Malawians stranded at transit sites in South Africa have deteriorated due to delays and rising numbers.
