⚠️ Rider Alert: Due to the I-285 closure starting now, Friday, June 5 at 7 p.m. through Monday, June 8 at 5 a.m., MARTA bus and Mobility customers should expect service delays and longer wait times caused by increased traffic on surface streets. The following bus routes will be most directly impacted: Routes 2, 3, 5, 14, 26, 42, 51, 66, 71, 73, 83, 84, 96, 115, 116, 117, 120, 165, 178, 184, 191, 194, and MARTA Reach Zone 304. Mobility, MARTA Reach, MARTA Rapid, and several bus routes will be impacted. Rail service will operate normally, but customers should allow extra travel time for station connections. @MARTAtransit you really need to reexamine the new 2 bus route(s). On multiple occasions you have multiple clumps of 2s going in the same direction leaving vast gaps in service in their wake. I don’t see how this serves anyone as a “Next Gen” improvement

Hello. MARTA will accommodate balance transfers from old Breeze cards and the Breeze Mobile 2.0 app to new Breeze accounts May 5 through October 30. Before beginning the transfer process, customers must have a new, orange Breeze card or new, black Reduced Fare or Mobility card. Once customers have their new Breeze card, they should follow the steps below to ensure any remaining balance on their old Breeze card or Breeze Mobile 2.0 account is transferred to their new Breeze account. 1. Go to breezecard.com and select “Sign in” or “Register.” 2. After signing in, link your NEW Breeze card. You will receive an email notification confirming the linking of the card to your account. 3. Select “Transfer legacy card balance/passes.” 4. Enter your old Breeze card number (silver card) or old Breeze Mobile 2.0 account email. 5. Verify the transfer.

Starting today, SEC District Station’s west entrance & bridge is closed until June 10 for installation of new wayfinding and artwork ahead of World Cup. Use State Farm Arena (east) entrance. Mercedes-Benz/GWCC visitors should use street level access.

🚨 MARTA Service Update Beginning May 30, 2026, fare payment will be required to ride MARTA as new fare gates and emergency exit doors close systemwide. Customers can tap to ride using: ✔️ Credit or debit card ✔️ Mobile wallet ✔️ New Breeze card or ticket ✔️ Virtual Breeze card in Apple, Google, or Samsung Wallet Please note: ⚠️ Old Breeze cards and the Breeze Mobile 2.0 app are no longer accepted on the new Breeze system. Ticket vending machines are now available at almost all rail stations. Customers should be prepared to pay fare before entering the system to avoid getting trapped inside stations where construction is ongoing.
