During the 2020 BLM protests, then-Atlanta mayor Keisha Bottoms appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and stated that the grievances needed to be turned into formal policy. So she permitted protesters to burn parts of the city, moved to defund the police, and oversaw a sharp rise in crime, including homicides that doubled. This approach exploited the riots to institutionalize race-based leftist policies in Atlanta. It amounted to the erosion of civilized society. And that is precisely what Georgia must reject and defeat.

Saw a guy getting arrested at the North Avenue station this morning. Upon reflection, pretty sure that’s the first person I’ve ever seen arrested at a MARTA station.

The problems with these fare gates were obvious from the start -- MARTA leadership needs to be totally replaced.
