I'm usually fairly optimistic. But this is a bad loss.
They didn't play well against a below average road team with a backup goalie on the second night of a back-to-back. It's not the end of the world, but it's a night when they should've gotten 2 pts.

@JeffMarek Dunn is a better player and can fight any heavyweight and do well...carrick also fights heavyweights but also wins big faceoffs, can put up a few points and is a good skater and good defensively

I'm told #stlblues Colton Parayko is open to a trade to a different destination, and of course prefers to stay in St. Louis. But not Buffalo - an outcome not all that different than Tyler Myers with Detroit. Now, will another team pay the same price Buffalo put on the table?
