Budget: ~$750,000 Revenue: ~$442.7 million That’s roughly a 590x return on the production budget before marketing and theater splits. It’s now considered one of the most profitable theatrical releases ever relative to its budget, surpassing The Blair Witch Project among films made for under $1 million. Absolutely insane.
