It’s absolutely hilarious how the narrative on Cal changed so quickly. 2 years ago at UK he’s washed and everyone laughed at him. Then he gets a *checks notes* 4 seed in the NCAAT, beats a 13 and 12 seed, and he’s suddenly this unstoppable force

This is a major part of why the top HS & transfer players aren't coming to Kentucky anymore. It's one thing to be critical of a player, but to go below the belt? That's unacceptable.

For coaches in their 40s and 50s, jobs like North Carolina and Kansas may never be open again. We could have a situation soon where they’re open at the same time. Point being, it’s dangerous to assume what someone will or won’t do when they have a once-in-a-career opportunity.

I don’t think we talk about this enough but John Robic leaving in 2021 changed this program and it seems like no one realized the impact it had… that man was Cals everything when it came to game plan, scouting, and film and it all changed after his departure number back it up.

Some fans do take things too far. However, this happens at every school in America. It’s going to happen to him in the pros. He didn’t perform as expected, whether that’s on him or Pope I guess we’ll know soon. No one is exempt from criticism.
