Excited to share our new Heart Rhythm O2 paper on EpiCO₂-assisted epicardial access for VT ablation. In 7 studies including 336 patients, EpiCO₂ showed 94% procedural success with low complication rates, supporting feasibility and the need for prospective comparative studies. Thankful to Dr. Alahwany and our dear mentor, Dr. Ammar.

Happy to share our new paper in Catheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions Journal🫀 🎊 Observational data comparing Impella vs VA-ECMO in cardiogenic shock remain confounded, but our updated meta-analysis suggests a signal favoring Impella after sensitivity and matched-cohort analyses, with lower bleeding/vascular complications and shorter ICU stay. After neutral Impella trials in high-risk PCI and non-shock STEMI, these findings align more with DanGer Shock: Impella may still have its clearest role in carefully selected true cardiogenic shock, not routine prophylactic unloading.
