Shocking News: Execution for Showing Your Hair: New Hijab Law in Iran The Islamic Republic has taken its war on women and dissent to horrifying new levels. A new law now allows execution for those accused of promoting “nudity, unveiling, or improper attire.” Imagine this: calling for personal choice or collaborating with media or foreign organizations can now be branded “corruption on earth” under Article 286 of the Islamic Penal Code, a charge punishable by death. As if death weren’t enough, the new laws, ensuring that flogging and imprisonment continue as punishments for defying forced hijab rules. For years, these cruel penalties have specifically targeted women and LGBTQ+ communities, criminalizing basic self-expression and personal freedoms. This is not a law; it is a tool of terror, a deliberate, calculated weapon to crush women, silence voices, and obliterate the fight for equality. The regime, desperate to maintain control, wields fear and violence against its own people, knowing it is losing its grip on power. The world cannot remain silent. Every moment of inaction enables this tyranny. It’s time to hold the Islamic Republic accountable for its crimes against humanity. I call on women worldwide, especially prominent actors, athletes, and female politicians, to raise their voices and join this fight against the gender apartheid imposed by the Islamic Republic. To the men: stand with us. Women’s rights are human rights, and only through unity can we dismantle this tyranny and achieve freedom and equality for all. #WomanLifeFreedom
