It's official, the House of Commons has passed the Censorship Bill C-9 today. It is now headed for the Senate where Trudeau appointed senators are expected to rubber stamp it. In other news, thousands more Albertans are ready to vote for independence. Before that too is illegal.

This gentleman was spotted in Winnipeg today protesting at Cineplex for banning The Shot. Wow. Something special is happening. God bless him. @Answers4Sean @RaineyMedia

Social media outrage is easy. Real leadership is harder. Across Manitoba, municipal elections are decided by a fraction of voters. Some seats are filled without a contest. Yet we’re told “nothing can change.” It can.

Why This Matters The October 28, 2026 municipal election may feel far away — but meaningful preparation begins now. Local government decisions affect zoning, taxation, infrastructure, regional planning, and property rights. Yet few citizens fully understand how these systems actually work. manitobastrongertogether.ca/post/municipal…

🚨 At the St. Clements meeting, residents were told provincial departments had “no concerns” about the 80-unit project. Ken Drysdale read the documents — they DIDN’T approve anything. They said compliance is up to the developer & municipality. Big difference. #Manitoba #Transparency

🚨 Ken Drysdale raises big questions about the WMR: votes only count if they represent 50%+ of the population — giving Winnipeg (~80%) effective veto power. After Plan 2050 failed, were councils kept in the dark? Manitobans deserve transparency. #Manitoba #WMR

Why don’t some municipal officials listen to residents? In Manitoba, 15–20% (some say closer to 30%) of mayors and councillors were elected by acclamation — meaning no one ran against them and they received zero votes. If someone never had to earn your vote, who are they accountable to? Food for thought. #Manitoba #LocalGovernment #Democracy

Expropriation is one of the most extreme powers government can exercise. So why does an unelected regional body — the WMR — now have it? With missing records, revised financials, and shifting deadlines, the question isn’t theoretical: Should this body be trusted with the power to take private land? Is this being addressed in the Plan 2050 rewrite? #WMR #ManitobaPolitics #PropertyRights

Winnipeg Metropolitan Region’s Plan 2050, it was revealed that the WMR hired a consultant whose own website claims expertise in “predictive science,” “deep brain instincts,” and designing “optimum human interfaces” to influence how people respond to imagery and messaging.

This crossed a line — and it should never happen again. Buried on page 26 of the original Winnipeg Metropolitan Region Plan 2050 is a statement declaring that “Everything has been created by Kitchi Manitou” and references to Mother Earth as a guiding principle for regional planning.
