Some personal news... Starting today, I will be on parental leave. I'm looking forward to this new chapter in my personal life, but I will be returning to CHCH! I expect to be back in a few months and will resume hosting the Evening News.

Found a baby deer this morning at the cabin. It was screaming while being attacked by a fox. I scared the fox away and found it stuck in the water.

I lost my guiding soul this week when my mother passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was 90 years old. Along with my father, they will continue to be our guardian angels. I think this is truly the point that we stop being children.
