@MBoston89 @PZanoff So the one on the left is my favorite it's the camp I served at in Iraq Camp Bucca. Named after 9/11 hero Ronald Bucca. Given to me by his brother. The one on the right is USMC LCPL Rylee McCollum kia Abbey gate. I keep them together the beginning 9/11 & the end 6/26/2021.

@EODHappyCaptain @PZanoff It sure was. We made a joke that it works because we had companies in IZ and AF 🤷🏽‍♀️😂. I in fact was in Afghanistan with 717th. Jokers wild.

@MBoston89 @PZanoff My favorite is the 184th Deployment coin on the third shelf from the bottom that says OEF on one side and OIF on the other...it was Afghanistan...

@IraqWarMonument @PZanoff So many have meaning to me. Probably my joker card from my deployment to Afghanistan with my EOD Co. Sec Def Austin was amazing also.

Yesterday I learned that even those that have documented sharp cases still require letters from those aware of what happened to support their VA claim for MST. My friend thanked me for my letter as they validated her trauma, I’m just sad it took others saying it happened.

I don’t cry very often but yesterday I did telling my COL and her secretary how much they unknowingly helped me through my depression and grief after losing my dad almost a year ago now. For some being kind is in their nature but I will always publicly acknowledge it.
