I’ve said this atleast a hundred times now… absolutely insane the AR eye injury when you look back at it. If that doesn’t happen the colts most likely make the playoffs and AR is the starter this year for Indy or for someone else

Unless you’re willing to submit to mediocrity (the Colts prove time and time again that they are willing and happy to do so) then you should take a shot with the guy that actually has the potential to uplift a shitty roster and put the team on his back - DJ/RL can not do that

Even at their best last year with DJ they were 2-5 against teams that finished over .500, Steichen is 7-22 in such games overall

I think it’s similar to the San Fran situation with Purdy vs Lance. Both teams have a great playcaller that we’re aiming to mold a volatile, young athlete into their QB
Early on both playcallers got frustrated with the development and opted for guys that can just run the system
