@Pellz_ He still had a massive platform to keep spreading hate for years. His albums still went platinum and he still got nominated for a Grammy all while Jewish people were getting insulted and pushed out the music industry

I’m not saying this to defend him lol. I’m just saying he’s taken a lot of losses, and I think ppl are unknowingly searching for total destruction when the reality is, he has not killed anyone and other things haven’t been unambiguously proven in the same way.

The Kanye stuff is an interesting peek into the notion of accountability the post-2017 world. He lost a billion dollars, adidas deal, his wife, and a shit ton of business relationships. I think when people say they want “accountability” they actually mean “total ruin.”

There are two types of people: those who love A Tribe Called Quest, and those who need to listen again.
