This powerful clip from @WaterlooRoad shows what can happen when a deaf pupil starts school without appropriate support in place. Every deaf child should have access to the support they need to thrive – no matter their type or level of deafness, or how they communicate.

Our "Painting with Pastels" workshop at @MCC_CIC yesterday. The group made lovely paintings of pears and landscapes using various painterly techniques. Visit the MCC page for details of this and all the other activities they have running in Walsall currently.

Another BSL Family Session at @MCC_CIC this week. Gary taught some British Sign Language - focussing on food and drinks (we all know how important it is to ask for cake!)

Some gorgeous creations at our Friday afternoon art club this week at @MCC_CIC (MCC). Participants painted the clay pieces they made the week before. Visit the MCC page for details of all the sessions they have available in Walsall.

Another educational BSL Friday morning session led by our Deaf tutor Gary at @MCC_CIC last week. The focus was on 'timeline' - what a brilliant subject, covering days of the week, months of the year, and signs that link to the past, the present and the future.

We loved working with young people on our first #HAF scheme in @WalsallCouncil @WRight4Children They created some amazing artworks, learnt some #BritishSignLanguage about healthy living, and planted their own herbs to grow. Thanks @educationgovuk for funding this and many more.
