Melissa Conyears Ervin doesn't support a ceasefire, y'all. Condemning the Israeli/US government is not antisemitic. Cutting off water & stopping the food supply will kill thousands of innocent people, including children. You're disappointing for not calling for a ceasefire.

So disappointing. Over the top rhetoric like this fans the flames of hatred and makes it harder to stop the terrible cycle of violence. Using the word "genocide" against Israel is not only ridiculous, it's a dog whistle for antisemites. Israel has a right to defend herself.

Our government is making a policy choice to fund the human rights violation of those trapped in Gaza right now. It is cowardly not to speak up and stand up in this moment. History will reflect that. My deepest wish is for a ceasefire. 🙏🏾
