@jakerandall Hey man, I don't know anyone who does this personally, but I can somewhat understand wanting to support those who support or at least don't cause harm to you or causes you care about. That said, researching this ahead of game footage/reviews seems extra.

It’s crazy that people don’t even play video games anymore before deciding if it’s good or bad. They just research every developer of the game and make their decision of it based on whatever political views they find regardless of what the game is. Pretty sad.
