On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we remember the powerful words and incredible life of the civil rights leader. This year, we again took part in the MLK Day of Service to honor the legacy of MLK by helping to provide resources to unhoused neighbors in South King County.

Update: With increasing cases of COVID and flu in our communities, and given the vulnerable demographics into which our seniors fall, MAPS-MCRC is postponing the December 5th Golden Times seniors event. A new date will be announced later.

The monsoon season in Pakistan has produced significant rainfall, devastating floods, and landslides affecting 33 million+ people. MAPS-MCRC and Hidaya Foundation are collecting clean and wearable clothes, shoes and bedding at MAPS Redmond on November 5th from 10am-6pm.

In the last two weeks we've served over 15 #Afghan families who recently arrived in #Seattle. We're blessed to have a #community who generously supplies us with donations. We're also grateful for our #volunteers who show up every week in Kent to move furniture to Afghan families.
