Josiah Schleusener of @MCSFlames was named the Spitzer Motors "Game Changer" on Monday, as the Flames beat crosstown rival Mansfield St. Peter's, 52-41, at home in overtime. Schleusener poured in a game-high 23 points to help the Flames sweep the season series! @MCSFlames_AD

Hardware Saturday! The Flames varsity Lady Flames received their MBC championship plaque after a perfect league record after an OT win on Senior night! The Flames also swept the middle school championships with 7th boys, 8th boys, 7th girls and 8th boys each won at Crestline!

For the 1st time in program history, Mansfield Christian (12-7, 6-0) has won an outright Mid-Buckeye Conference championship 🏆 Congratulations to the Lady Flames who finish undefeated in the league with an overtime win over Central Christian on Senior Night 👏

MCS/St. Pete games are never dull! Fouled on late game heave, Blayne Morrow sinks 3 free throws with 1.1 seconds left to win 49-47. Josiah Schleusener’s 20 points led all scorers. What a game!! Exciting environment all night. Flames now 2-1 and travel to Plymouth tomorrow.

In Tiffin at the girls regional final, 0-0 14 minutes into the game. Woodmore had a 40 yard free kick off the corner of the cross bar that scared us all!

Top 10 in the state! Senior Riley Patrick finishes her XC career with a 9th place finish in the state championship! We are so proud of you Riley and have appreciated the leadership, fun, focus and God-following you brought the squad as well as our school! We’re big fans!

Tomorrow is a big day for Lady Flames! Senior Riley Patrick competes at the state cross country meet at 10am at Obetz with a great shot at the podium! And the Lady Flames soccer team takes on Woodmore at Tiffin at 7p in their 1st ever regional championship! Blessings, ladies!!

Hardest working athletes of the week are the backline of the MCS girls soccer team, keeping a tight rein on opposing district/regional teams. Goalkeeper Haven Granter and defenders Natalie Ricker, Anna Tucker, Grace Them, Michelle Hope and Marlena McRae… great job!
