Welcome to the official Twitter account for the MCSR Census Project! We endeavour to capture demographic and social trends/phenomena in the MCSR community, informing community growth and content strategy. Our flagship deliverable is the MCSR Census, which runs every summer.

A big thank you to @Evajk_04 @jungletemples @_DestEmu and lilac for helping with tracking! We look forward to seeing the numbers the bracket will bring! Playoffs viewership stats will be updated after every weekend, but a S10 viewership report is unlikely.

The Last Chance Qualifiers of MCSR Ranked Season 10 peaked at 15331 CCV (down 8% season-on-season), but posted an impressive average viewer count of 13015 over 4.75 hours, despite fluctuating stream health. Congrats to the winners, and GL to all Playoffs participants 🙂‍↕️

What's the spirit of MCSR? What "pull factors" keep people from leaving MCSR? The 2025 Census gives some insight on these tricky questions. In a time when pointing fingers may be easy and intuitive, let's all try to keep the MCSR community tight-knit, supportive and respectful!

Day 3 of the MCSR Ranked x LVLUP Expo LAN event was a huge success! Apart from averaging 9190 CCV and peaking at 12135 (@ 5:05 pm ET), the bracket segment yielded a floor attendance of ~200, and the matches were absolute Cinema. Writeup coming in May, after the FS2 Report.

Without heavyweights like Feinberg and Ludwig, large watchparties like @hackingnoisess and official MCSR Ranked channels (Twitch avg. viewership: +38% day-on-day) contributed a majority of viewers. The inclusion of YouTube stats also contibuted to the increase in recorded CCV.

Day 2 of the MCSR Ranked x LVLUP Expo LAN event peaked at a respectable 12588 CCV, at 5:40 pm ET. Sources also reported 150-200 floor attendees, potentially dethroning @Sivianox and @FulhamYT's LFI as the largest in-person MCSR turnout to-date. Once again, GL and HF at Day 3!

Good morning MCSR, and happy LAN bracket day! Day 1 of the @MCSR_Ranked x @LVLUPEXPO LAN event peaked at 8658 viewers, at around 4pm PT. However, we anticipate much higher turnouts today, with less technical issues and downtime. GL to the runners, and HF to the spectators!
