Delighted that Rovers got this over the line. Had thought with Nolan and Meekison coming in that it was off. Can't wait to see this lad with a full pre season done. Plenty of great attacking options now. Would still like to see another striker come in and maybe a centre half.

@goconnor1 True Gerry but its a position we always seem to pick up injuries in i suppose. A nice to have but not need to have so much

@MDJMulv95 Don't think we need another centre half. We have McLean, Denham, McElroy. McHugh can also play there. And Reynolds too.

What an evening in Tallaght. First I've been there and watched us win. Long season, cant wait for February to come again. Probably the last we'll see of Elding and Hakiki in red but they gave brilliant last performances if so. Hope JR can keep the core squad and build next year

What a performance! Jad Hakiki never stopped running all night, he'd probably do another 90 minutes too! Agbaje barely put a foot wrong at the back and delighted for Kavanagh to get the all important goal. Connacht is and always will be red 🔴⚪️

Congratulations to Johnny Kenny who has received his first senior international call-up 🇮🇪💚 Kenny comes into the squad to replace striker Troy Parrott who is ruled out through injury. All other players in the squad will report for the Hungary & Armenia matches this week 👍
