Prof Harrison is honoured for her exceptional contributions to hematology, including her prolific practice-changing academic work, leadership of clinical trials, and support of patient advocacy as co-founder of MPN Voice, MPN Advocates Network, and trustee of Blood Cancer UK. Her dedication to patient-centered care and mentorship has shaped a generation of clinicians. Reflecting on the recognition, Prof Harrison shared, “It is a great honour to receive this award on behalf of the MPN community of fantastic colleagues and inspiring patients, as well as our wonderful team at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital.
