I haven't been on this app in months. All the shenanigans by the new owner completely turned me off. Based on the news today, I'll probably never come back. What a shame, this used to be such a great platform. Everything has an expiration date, I guess.

I found out this month that the USMLE exam fee is now $1000. These are unemployed students, by and large, living off loans. Yet, somehow this is a fair price? To sit for a fully computerized exam? How absurd. Tell me again how this isn't a racket & obvious money grab. #MedTwitter

My friend and mentor, Dr. Neil Lempert passed away. This saddens me so much. A legend in surgery by every measure, he befriended me, a 2nd year med student & helped me through my journey. Though retired, he was a fixture at morning report. I will miss him & our conversations.

I've spent the past year doing all the things we tell patients. Actually practicing what I preach, and wouldn't you know it; I'm the healthiest I've ever been.

Yeah, it might be over for Twitter real soon. Homeboy took over and I can already see what's to come.

My mom has never been to Florida, nor seen a gator in real life.... And yet, on an almost weekly basis, warns me to stay safe from the gators. Lol gotta love moms.
