The #CCIChallenge2026 deadline is 4.3.2026. The Community College Innovation Challenge, is led by AACC & the National Science Foundation. It's a nat'l competition for #CommCollege student-mentor teams, to use STEM to innovate solutions to real-world problems; Boot Camp, 💲awards.

Since 1992, @MD_CommColleges has served as a unified voice advocating for Maryland’s 16 community colleges and supports the educational needs of over 100,000 students across the state. @ChrisVanHollen, @RepStenyHoyer, @RepAprilDelaney, @RepJohnnyO, and I met with the Executive and Legislative Directors of MACC, Dr. Brad Phillips and Drew Jabin, along with representatives of our community colleges – including @AnneArundelCC and @HowardCC – to brainstorm ways to expand workforce and cyber training opportunities, improve financial transparency for students, and increase access to Pell Grants. Community colleges are often a crucial first step into higher education for many students. Supporting their success means supporting our future.
