Next is Luke DiSilvestro. Det. DiSilvestro graduated from the 82nd Recruit Training Troop in 2024, working with the Central Field Troop as well as being a Field Training Officer and member of our Evidence Response Team.

This morning, we held a ceremony to promote three Troopers to new positions! 🎉 First is Tyler Plourde, who will be a Corporal for the Central Field Troop! Cpl. Plourde returned to us in 2024 after a brief stint away from law enforcement, where he's been patrolling highways with Troop I. 🧵👇

📢 Attention all motorists: On May 13, 2026, at approximately 9:15 AM, there will be an honorable transfer for Warden Pilot Tibbetts from Hospital St. in Augusta to Main St. in Newport. Please expect traffic delays in between the two locations, specifically on I-95. The public can expect to see a large presence of emergency vehicles in the procession itself and along I-95 to render honors. The State Police politely asks that no member of the public stop along I-95 to render honors due to safety concerns.
