🇧🇦 Foreign Minister @dinokonakovic held a bilateral meeting with 🇵🇰 Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on the margins of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum. A strong emphasis was placed on further advancing bilateral relations, especially through the strengthening of economic cooperation and the creation of new opportunities for trade and investment. Minister Konaković briefed his interlocutor on the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as on the progress achieved on its European path and ongoing reform processes, emphasizing that membership in the European Union remains a strategic priority for Bosnia and Herzegovina. Minister Ishaq Dar underlined the sincere and friendly relations between Pakistan and Bosnia and Herzegovina, reaffirming Pakistan’s firm support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. 🇵🇰 Minister briefed on the latest developments in ongoing peace efforts aimed at ending the conflict in Iran, highlighting a cautiously optimistic outlook regarding the prospects for achieving a sustainable and lasting peace, as well as broader regional stabilization. He noted that the continuation of this diplomatic process, with the next round of negotiations expected in Islamabad, represents an important step toward de-escalation and long-term security.

The visit reflects the strength of longstanding and trusted relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Austria, grounded in close political dialogue and meaningful cooperation. It also reaffirms a shared commitment to advancing stability, deepening bilateral ties, and supporting Bosnia and Herzegovina’s progress on its European path. Minister Konaković expressed sincere appreciation for Austria’s consistent support and enduring friendship, highlighting its important role in promoting stability, reforms, and Bosnia and Herzegovina’s European future.

🇧🇦 Foreign Minister @dinokonakovic held a phone call with 🇧🇪 Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs and Development Cooperation @prevotmaxime. During the call, Minister Konaković extended a warm welcome ahead of Minister Prévot’s upcoming official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina. As they will not be able to meet in person due to the Minister’s participation in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, the call provided a timely opportunity to exchange views and discuss current challenges. The ministers reaffirmed that Belgium remains one of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s key partners on its European path, as well as in advancing development priorities and reform processes. They also exchanged views on the current European and global geopolitical landscape, with particular focus on the political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Both ministers reiterated the importance of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s European and Euro-Atlantic path, emphasizing that integration remains essential for strengthening regional cooperation and ensuring long-term stability. Minister Prévot reaffirmed Belgium’s strong support for Bosnia and Herzegovina’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, while Minister Konaković expressed appreciation for the continued support of partners such as Belgium in advancing these shared strategic priorities.

Irfana Ljubijankića, koji je obavljao dužnost ministra vanjskih poslova Bosne i Hercegovine u jednom od najtežih perioda njene historije. Istaknuto je da je političko djelovanje dr. Ljubijankića neraskidivo utkano u savremenu historiju Bosne i Hercegovine, te da je njegovo naslijeđe trajno obilježeno dosljednom borbom za multietničku, demokratsku i međunarodno priznatu Bosnu i Hercegovinu, utemeljenu na principima suživota, ravnopravnosti i očuvanja njenog državnog kontinuiteta.

🇧🇦 Foreign Minister @dinokonakovic met today with John Ginkel 🇺🇸 Chargé d’Affaires and Joshua Volz, Special Envoy for Global Energy Integration at the U.S. Department of Energy. Discussions focused on strengthening cooperation in the energy sector, including diversification of supply routes, enhancing energy resilience, and advancing strategic infrastructure projects. Minister Konaković underlined that this is not only an energy matter, but also an important political and security issue, ensuring stronger connectivity of Bosnia and Herzegovina with its Euro-Atlantic partners. The interlocutors reaffirmed that the United States remains a reliable partner to Bosnia and Herzegovina in strengthening energy security and supporting long-term economic stability and resilience.

Na Dan grada Sarajeva, 6. aprila, ministar vanjskih poslova Bosne i Hercegovine @dinokonakovic odao je počast i položio cvijeće na Spomen-obilježju „Vječna vatra“. U okviru obilježavanja, cvijeće je položeno i na šehidskom mezarju „Kovači“, na mezaru prvog predsjednika Republike Bosne i Hercegovine Alije Izetbegovića, kao i na Spomen-obilježju ubijenoj djeci opkoljenog Sarajeva 1992–1995. Šesti april ostaje trajni podsjetnik na historiju Sarajeva – na stradanje, ali i na snagu, dostojanstvo i nepokorivi duh njegovih građana. Ovo je dan sjećanja, ali i potvrde vrijednosti koje Sarajevo baštini: slobodu, solidarnost i zajedništvo.

The meeting reaffirmed the strong and substantive partnership between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the OSCE, with a shared commitment to advancing key priorities in support of stability, democratic institutions, and the rule of law. Minister Konaković expressed full support for the priorities of the Swiss Chairmanship of the OSCE, underscoring the importance of continued multilateral cooperation in addressing common challenges. He also conveyed appreciation for the OSCE’s long-standing and meaningful engagement in Bosnia and Herzegovina, particularly through the implementation of numerous projects that have contributed to institutional strengthening, reform processes, and overall societal resilience.

Discussions placed particular focus on strengthening economic cooperation and unlocking new opportunities for 🇮🇳 investment, with Bosnia and Herzegovina positioning itself as a reliable and competitive partner in the European market.

Ministar vanjskih poslova Bosne i Hercegovine @dinokonakovic održao je danas sastanak s direktorom @SrebrenicaMC, @suljagicemir1 . Tokom sastanka razgovarano je o radu Memorijalnog centra Srebrenica, pri čemu je ministar Konaković izrazio punu i kontinuiranu podršku njegovim aktivnostima, naglašavajući njegovu ključnu ulogu u očuvanju kulture sjećanja, istine i borbi protiv negiranja genocida. Sagovornici su također razmijenili mišljenja o aktuelnoj situaciji u Bosni i Hercegovini, s posebnim naglaskom na pokušaje radikalizacije političkog prostora. U tom kontekstu istaknuta je zabrinjavajuća pojava širenja lažnih političkih narativa, uključujući neutemeljene tvrdnje o antisemitizmu, koje imaju za cilj destabilizaciju društva i narušavanje međunacionalnog povjerenja. Posebno je naglašena potreba odlučnog suprotstavljanja svim oblicima antisemitizma, islamofobije i diskriminacije, uz jačanje institucionalnog odgovora i promociju vrijednosti međusobnog poštovanja, tolerancije i suživota. Zaključeno je da je očuvanje istine, jačanje institucija i zajedničko djelovanje protiv dezinformacija od ključnog značaja za stabilnost i demokratski razvoj Bosne i Hercegovine.

🇧🇦 Another productive meeting today with 🇺🇸 Congressman Nicholas A. Langworthy, member of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce. Discussions focused on the importance of energy diversification—reducing dependence on a single supply route while ensuring long-term access to reliable and diversified natural gas sources, particularly from the United States. Minister Konaković expressed appreciation for continued U.S. support in advancing strategic energy projects, as well as in strengthening stability and reform processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina, including efforts to enhance energy infrastructure, increase transparency, and align with European and transatlantic standards. Congressman Langworthy highlighted the importance of energy projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina and reaffirmed U.S. support for their further development, underscoring that energy security, diversification, and regional stability remain key priorities in U.S. engagement with the Western Balkans.

Minister Konaković expressed appreciation for Congressman Quigley’s engagement and continued support for Bosnia and Herzegovina, including his advocacy for the introduction of sanctions against actors whose actions threaten peace and stability in the region. During the meeting, Congressman Quigley underscored the importance of a strong partnership with European allies in addressing contemporary security challenges, emphasizing that Europe’s energy security must remain high on the shared agenda. He reaffirmed his consistent support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, stressing that preserving the Dayton Peace Agreement is of strategic importance for regional stability and European security, as any destabilization of the Western Balkans could carry broader geopolitical implications.

During the meeting, Minister Konaković expressed appreciation for her consistent support, engagement, and strong understanding of the complex political processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as for her active role within the 🇧🇦 Congressional Caucus. He particularly highlighted her long-standing commitment to strengthening mechanisms for safeguarding the Dayton Peace Agreement, her timely and clear public responses to destabilizing activities in BiH, and her continued cooperation with colleagues in Congress and the State Department on issues of key importance for the country’s stability and security. Congresswoman Wagner briefed the Minister on a range of activities undertaken by members of Congress and the Senate aimed at protecting the Dayton Peace Agreement, preserving the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as countering and condemning secessionist activities and addressing lobbying by secessionist actors. She reaffirmed her strong support for the unity and stability of Bosnia and Herzegovina and emphasized the importance of continued close cooperation and coordination between the institutions of the United States and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
