All in all.. that was a helluva season. Boys battled their ass off tonight in the most one sided environment March Madness has ever seen. Weathered the storm and almost pulled through… we’re not going anywhere anytime soon

Annual rant: I hate how they do the second round TV times. It’s insane to have single games in both afternoon windows (with no options to switch to at halftime or between games), then cram six games into the evening.

NIL killed Cinderella… 10-16 seeds in this year’s men’s basketball tournament went 3-25 in the first round, with an average point differential of -13. Prior to NIL those seeds would typically win about 8 games in the 1st round with a point differential around 1/2 of this year.

No NCAA sanctioned sporting events should start after 9:00 pm local time. The UConn-Furman game having to tip off close to 10:30 pm Eastern is absolutely absurd and not fair to the student-athletes on either team.

It’s official: no wins by a 13–16 seed for the second straight year. The last time that happened before 2025 was in 2017. The only "upsets" today were two 9 seeds over 8 seeds, both of which were favored by Vegas. I fear it is a second straight year of Chalk Madness.
