If anyone can hop on ultimate team and get the best players then that defeats the whole purpose of the game mode.
If you want the best team, go play head to head seasons.
Ultimate team is about progression and slowly making a team that you want to use to last you the full cycle.
Evos give every player the ability to have insane cards for not much effort and then the game dies before the cycle finishes because they can’t upgrade their team anymore.

What I’ve gathered from this post is Evos have apparently “saved the game”.
Absolutely fantastic - they’re right! The last 3 FIFA’s/FCs have been amazing! Thank god for evos saving the game!
Oh wait, the last 3 games have been the worst in the franchise. How does that make sense?
Is it because evos have killed every other aspect in ultimate team?
Do you want to do an SBC? Don’t bother, there will be an evo that’s better!
Do you want to open some packs? Don’t bother, there will be an evo that’s better than anything you’ll get!
Do you want to play fut champs? Don’t bother, an evo will be better than your rewards!

Evos have killed SBCs. Evos have killed new promos. Evos have killed FUT champs/rivals rewards. Evos have killed icon/hero packs. Evos have killed the market. Evos have killed the community bonding over cards. Evos have killed the power curve. The only thing to look forward to in the game is new evos. UT has become so one dimensional and boring. Evos seriously need re-worked or removed completely.

Absolutely tone deaf. Evos may be fun, but they are KILLING every other department in the game. They are why the game is dead.
Have fun with your past & present teams, but that results in a dead market, fut champs rewards that don’t upgrade your team, SBCs getting released that no one wants to waste their fodder on, and no reason to play the game.
Evos are saving the game though!!

I’ve never spent money to get the best players.
I’ve always grinded the game to upgrade my team, the way it should be. It shouldn’t be easy to take a random player, do a couple of evos and get an elite player.
If everyone has elite players, no one does.

And that’s the way it should be. S tier cards SHOULD be unobtainable for the most part. That’s what makes them special if you do get lucky.
What evos have done is made the B tier promo cards worthless, so in your packs of course you won’t get anything good as there’s no middle ground - you either get extremely lucky 1% of the time and trash the other 99%.

Of course they do - if I match up against someone with a full team of evos I know I’m in for a hellish game. If I see promo cards, I can relax.
Promo cards are only shit BECAUSE OF EVOS. Evos raise the power curve too much.
Content creators have existed for years. Think back to fifa 12, 13. People were running road to glory’s, pack openings, they weren’t a cancer to the game then and aren’t now.

UT has always been pay to win, even back in the golden days. Nothing has changed.
Gameplay has been questionable since FIFA 19, but we’ve still had good ultimate teams in that time with a good pack grind, fut champs rewards etc.
Players not living up to their stats is a playstyles issue. Also another huge reason the game is dead.

@MFGA___ Don’t blame evos it’s ea sports that ruined the game it’s all pay to win and the game play is just pure trash with these cards they do not live up to there stats you could have a player with 99 s for all dribbling and they would still fell heavy not fluid and silky

But the reason you are only packing “fodder” is because evos have raised the power curve so much.
EA shouldn’t need to improve pack weight to compensate for an out of control power curve.
If evos weren’t in the game, I’m sure the cards you packed would have upgraded your team.

SBCs aren’t good enough because Evos are too strong.
Rewards aren’t good enough because Evos are too strong and anything you’ll get from rewards don’t upgrade your team.
Promos aren’t good enough because Evos are too strong.
If we increase the value/quality of everything else to match Evos, there will be no power curve whatsoever and the game will become even more of a mess.
We need to tone down Evos to match everything else in the game - not the other way round.
