@sebp888 Monero is getting even worse. Firstly ring signatures are not private. Obfuscation ≠ true privacy. Then in development you have CARROT and compliance-driven view keys, and you’re heading toward a split network with selective transparency. Monero getting even worse $ARRR

GM, Monero bros. 🌞 Without Monero $XMR, we’d be stuck choosing between surveillance coins and centralized choke points instead of real, unstoppable digital cash.

@XMRVoid It might fly because of ignorance Ring signatures just obscure, they don’t hide. Obfuscation ≠ Privacy Add CARROT and compliance-driven view keys, and you’re heading toward a split network with selective transparency. Worse than ZCash $ARRR

While most cryptocurrencies leave a permanent public trail for governments and corporations to follow, Monero $XMR delivers true, default privacy with untraceable transactions and perfect fungibility by design. If you value financial freedom in a surveilled world, it's time to stack XMR and take back your sovereignty.

The age of privacy in crypto started 12 years ago, with a little thing called Monero. That humble beginning on a thread on the Bitcoin Talk forum was the start of a revolution, a world where real people could gain the real privacy they needed. Thank you, Monero 🧡

VLAD HOSTS THE BEST PODCAST IN BITCOIN
Been thinking of a smart tweet for Monero’s 12th birthday This is the best I could come up with: Happy birthday, BitMonero! We are all thankful for today, when financial privacy is more important than a decade ago Thank you for testing ring signatures with CT, Dandelion, Bulletproofs++, stealth addresses, and other ideas that were meant for Bitcoin but the devs never merged them Also, thank you for nurturing a culture in which fungibility of payments and confidentiality are non-negotiable! Congratulations to the Monero community for keeping the project alive and relevant for so many years! Privacy used to be a tough sell that only appealed to paranoid nerds and darkweb merchants. Now it’s more important than ever! Oh and sorry for being a dick sometimes. I’m just upset when I see what kind of disgraceful people infiltrate the community in order for spread hatred and disinformation. But at the end of the day, it’s good to look at the bright side: a community of internet nerds has kicked out the Bytecoin founder, forked away to make everything fairer, and is still here to remind bitcoiners that privacy matters. Hope you get FCMP++ soon!

@TheDesertLynx @THORChain You’re mixing two different things. THORChain = swapping assets Privacy coins = protection Monero/Zcash = optional or probabilistic privacy, not true cypherpunk. There’s only one chain enforcing full privacy by default: Pirate Chain $ARRR The only cypherpunk digital gold

The bullish case for @THORChain is uniting all the cypherpunk digital cash cryptos under one uncensorable marketplace. The three best-positioned cryptos to lead the freedom money movement in the future, right now, are Dash, Zcash, and Monero. Zano is a close #4 that's catching up rather quickly. Litecoin's the current #1, but it's giving up some ground. THORChain has only Litecoin right now, but could add the "big three" soon, and possibly Zano. If it does, it'll make all five of the best freedom monies available across censorship resistant rails. If so, it'll be the only protocol that has both passed the DPRK decentralization test, and has all of these coins. Increasingly, stablecoins are available to average people. That means that they're one DEX swap away from freedom money. The mass adoption of digital cash thesis hinges on access and interoperability. THORChain might just be the key to a free future. 🔑⚡️
