Great to be out at the Frederick Home & Garden Expo today connecting with so many incredible local businesses, families, and leaders who make our community strong. Events like this are a reminder of how important the skilled trades are to Frederick’s future.

Attended the Frederick Co. Commission for Woman’s “WOMEN OF EXCELLENCE TRAILBLAZERS OF TOMORROW AWARDS” Honored incredible trailblazers in our community and some young rising stars. Congratulations to Leshia Chandler & Barbara Thompson on your award & thank you for all you do!

Today marks an exciting milestone for our community as we celebrate the groundbreaking of the new Middletown co-located Middle and Elementary School! These will be two distinct schools connected with some shared spaces.

B.A. List had a family who needed a ramp for their son. Not only did they get a ramp, but a new deck, & new sidewalks Watts Tree Experts came through with help grinding out a stump. Jeff Holtzinger with architectural drawings. Brook Hill United Methodist Church with volunteers.

One of my favorite things I do every year is officiate the Teacher-Student Basketball game at Rock Creek School. This is my 14th year volunteering for the greatest staff of folks at the Rock! It is always good seeing friends. As always, the Students dominated the staff 172-37!

Thrilled to attend the ribbon-cutting for Wonder, a new restaurant out on route 355 in Frederick. 

Honored to attend ribbon cutting for the new DVMF Veterans Service Office location in Frederick, now located inside the MVA. This new space will help make vital benefits & services more accessible for our veterans, service members, & their families right here in Frederick County

Honored to attend ground breaking for the new replacement Green Valley Fire Department. The new Green Valley Fire Station 25 is designed to be a modern public-safety facility. Plans call for a roughly 18,000–19,400 square-foot station with six drive-through apparatus bays.

Honored to be at the Ribbon Cutting for Kiddie Academy in Frederick off Crestwood Blvd. One of the real pleasures of serving on the county council was passing the zoning amendment that allowed for this to take place and then seeing it actually open.

Was fun attending the Frederick Woman's Civic Club: Mardi Gras Frederick this year. This year was the 45th Anniversary of me accompanying my wife Cheryl as a Princess in 1981 and the 30th Anniversary of me being a King in 1996. Great time!
